映画の天才: ２００６年映画ベストテン。

２００６年映画ベストテン。

２００６年も、映画で楽しませてもらった。
　
今日はいよいよ大晦日ということで、個人的なベストテンを公開します。
今年も個人的嗜好の要素以外はいっさいなし。
どんな有名批評家が褒めようが、どれだけ大ヒットを記録した
作品だろうが、僕が好きじゃなきゃランクインはしません。
　
それでは、もったいぶって、下から順番に発表。
　
第１０位
『時をかける少女』
その名の通り、時をかけて、アニメかつオリジナルストーリーで復活。
オタク色のない日常路線の世界観と実写映画を意識したカット割りが、
心に響く青春物語と絶妙なバランスで配合された、今年指折りの傑作アニメ。
普通が最も難しく、普通が最も素晴らしい。
　
第９位
『ゆれる』
メディアの力で生き返り、そして汚された日本の映画界にあって、
『運命じゃない人』の内田けんじ監督に続き、監督の力量でお客が
呼べるホンモノを発見。新鋭、西川美和監督のおどろおどろしくも、
人間らしさを感じる心理描写に感服。オダギリジョーは過去最高。
　
第８位
『リトル・ミス・サンシャイン』
ダメ家族の再生なんていう、ありきたりのテーマをこすりながら、
家族の個性とロードムービーで意表をついた予想外映画。
完璧を与えないことで、家族関係の本質を捉えた展開が、
笑いと甘さだけではない本作の質の高さ。
ダメ家族でも、家族は最高。
　
第７位
『トンマッコルへようこそ』
感動不感症の僕に、今年唯一、大粒の涙を流させた感動作。
ジブリ作品を思わせる普遍的なテーマと見事な楽曲、
韓国らしからぬ泣き笑いのファンタジーに心が揺さぶられた。
韓国映画を毛嫌いしている人にこそ、観て欲しい一作。
　
第６位
『ナイロビの蜂』
『シティ・オブ・ゴッド』のフェルナンド・メイレレス監督最新作。
巧みな構成に引き込まれ、愛の美しさに打ちのめされる。
社会派映画であっても、僕には純粋な愛の映画と映る。
映画史に残るラストシーンに胸を打ち抜かれた。
　
第５位
『クラッシュ』
ぶつかり合って生きていく多様な人間たちの根源的な問題を
静謐に描いた感動作。ポール・ハギスの才能は脚本だけではなく、
監督としても一流なことが判明した。日本人にはこの映画がみせる
衝突があまりないのかもしれないけど、それでも心を打つのは、
物語の語り口が絶妙だからだろう。感服。
　
第４位
『マッチポイント』
失敗続きだったウディ・アレンがとうとう復活。
愛するニューヨークから、ロンドンに舞台を移した本作は、
運についての物語を、一切無駄のない脚本、上質な古典の空気で描写。
あまりに残酷な結末は、これこそ映画という薫りが漂う。
　
第３位
『グエムル漢江の怪物』
怪獣映画なのに、ヒューマンドラマ。
ヒューマンドラマなのに、社会派。
社会派なのに、エンターテイメント。
ポン・ジュノ監督の独自の感性で全て包み込んだ、
２００６年抜群のごった煮映画。すごい可能性。
　
第２位
『カーズ』
Pixar作品と他のアニメーション作品との差は、
テーマの普遍性と物語の美しさ、そしてクリエイティビティの高さ。
あのジョン・ラセター自らが監督した本作は、さらに彼の強い個性が
加えられた完璧なアニメ。クルマが好きでも嫌いでも、完璧。
　
第１位
『トム・ヤム・クン！』
出会えた奇跡を喜びたいと思う、２００６年至上の作品。
現代最高のアクションスター、トニー・ジャーと彼のチームが、
５分間の長回しなど、神の領域にまで到達するアクションシークエンスで
魅せ続ける。アクションシーンで泣けるのは、この作品以外には存在しない。
ありがとう、トニー・ジャー！
　
　
今年は全体的に小粒ながらもバランスのとれたラインナップだった。
その中で、特筆すべきは、他の追随を許さない『トム・ヤム・クン！』の原初的な映画力。
誰かに伝えたくて、そして好きで仕方がないという、トニー・ジャーのチームの
アクションにかける情熱があらゆるものを駆逐したといっても過言ではない。
ここまでハイレベルなアクション映画が登場して、この後、いったい何が生まれるのか。
そんな心配さえしてしまう仕上がりだった。でも、そんな懸念さえも飛び越えてくれるのが
神の子、トニー・ジャーだと僕は信じている。
ちなみに次点は、『インサイド・マン』、『硫黄島からの手紙』、『フラガール』などが挙げられる。
単純に映画の完成度では、これらの作品が上位に食い込んでくるだろうけれど、
このベストテンは中井個人の好き嫌いに依存しているので、この結果です。
　
ともあれ、今年もこんなにも面白い映画が観れたことに感謝。
２００７年も、たくさん面白い映画が生まれることを期待します。
